This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced local government lawyer to take a leadership position covering planning, highways and commercial legal matters , while managing a multi-disciplinary legal team. The Role You will be responsible for: Drafting, negotiating and completing S106, S38 and S278 agreements , as well as other planning and highways agreements and licences. Providing senior legal advice across planning, highways and development matters . Leading, managing and supervising a team of contract, planning and property lawyers . Contributing to the Legal Services Management Team and wider corporate priorities. Attending and advising at Planning Committee and other Council committees . Delivering training to elected members.
