We need someone who has personally led the move from traditional datacentre infrastructure to Cloud and modern Platform Engineering, while maintaining resilient 24/7 services. Key experience: Head-level Cloud/Infrastructure/Platform leadership. Major datacentre exit and Azure/cloud migration. Hybrid infrastructure and complex Legacy estates. Platform Engineering, DevOps, IaC and CI/CD. Agile/product operating models and automation. Resilience, DR, Major Incident and operational availability. Monitoring/observability and proactive operations. Strategic vendor/MSP/cloud-provider leadership. FinOps and demonstrable cost optimisation. Building and developing engineering teams at scale.
