We are looking for a

Head of Clinical Excellence

who will be accountable and responsible for clinical compliance and achieving our brand value of clinical excellence across the group, reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer.You are likely to be already working in our sector as an optometrist or in a similar, closely related field such as audiology, and will have a working knowledge of the relevant external bodies and regulators.Key responsibilities

Provide clinical supervision for staff ensuring the provision of ongoing education and trainingEnsure clinical equipment and processes are fit for purpose, to support compliance and professional standardsEnsure clinical team are engaged and informed about company strategy and plansAdvise the board in advance of any changes to clinical requirements or developmentsRepresent DandT on all clinical bodies. e.g. Optometry ScotlandSupport clinical staff recruitmentChampion Pre-reg and students onboarding and supportSuggest commercial developments in the clinical arenaAdvise retail management and represent clinical team on agreeing updated customer journey blueprintsThis is an exciting time to join DandT as we go through huge growth and transition, and you will have the opportunity to really make an impact and be part of our journey.You will spend time in the field, travelling across our national branch network.
