Head of Chemistry

Blue Skies Education are working in partnership with a nationally recognised and highly ambitious secondary school in West London that is seeking to appoint an outstanding Head of Chemistry from September 2026. We are looking for a Head of Chemistry who is an exceptional classroom practitioner and a confident subject leader. You will take responsibility for leading Chemistry across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 within a large and successful Science department, working closely with senior leaders to drive continued excellence. The Science department is ambitious, collaborative, and outcomes-focused, with consistently strong results at GCSE and A Level and a track record of students progressing to top universities and science-related careers. The successful candidate will play a central role in maintaining and building upon these outcomes, ensuring high-quality curriculum delivery, effective assessment, and outstanding teaching across the subject.
