As Head of Blades Process Engineering Infusion, you will play a crucial role in directing strategic initiatives, realizing process excellence, and facilitating innovation at our manufacturing site located in Isle of Wight. Manage the analysis of current (AS-IS) and future state processes, and define strategic plans for the Infusion areaFacilitate performance management by establishing KPIs and process indicators, while promoting ongoing enhancement initiativesEstablish and maintain a competence center for the Infusion process, embedding engineering skills into manufacturingApply Six Sigma/Lean methodologies to ensure a data-driven, quantitative approach to process optimizationDevelop and implement standardized manufacturing processes, tooling solutions, and user-focused documentationEnsure scalability and repeatability of processes across internal and external sitesBuild a positive team culture focused on excellence, innovation, and accountability, while engaging with stakeholders to solve operational challengesQualifications
Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related fieldCertified in Green Belt Six Sigma or advanced manufacturing process analysis10+ years of experience in similar leadership roles within process engineeringEstablished experience leading teams of up to 15 specialists or highly skilled professionalsSolid background in data- and quality-driven manufacturing environmentsExperience promoting a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and people developmentKnowledge of composite materials (fiberglass, carbon fiber, epoxy resins)Solid end-to-end understanding of manufacturing processes and productsAbility to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levelsSkilled in embedding engineering into the manufacturing value stream for faster decision-makingProficient in data analytics, root-cause problem solving, and continuous improvementExperienced in developing standardized processes and scalable tooling solutionsSolid communicator with the ability to engage across functions and organizational levelsSelf-motivated, customer-oriented, and capable of building networks across cultures and time zonesWhat we offer
