This senior position offers the chance to make a significant contribution to global pathogen safety while working in a highly regulated environment. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the Head of Biosafety will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1. Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Biosafety function, ensuring its work supports organisational priorities and the wider Global Pathogen Safety strategy. 2. Oversee pathogen safety activities, GLP compliance, and laboratory operations within a critical and highly regulated scientific environment. 3. Lead, support, and develop a team of scientific professionals working across specialised biosafety and pathogen-safety activities. 4. Act as a senior scientific leader, applying strong pathogen-safety expertise to guide programmes, projects, and operational decision-making.
