      <description>Location: Manchester | Salary: &amp;pound;500/day | Type: Contract | Our client is looking for a Head of Asset Management to be based in Manchester.     This role is a senior post within strategic leadership for the authority''s housing service.     The role holder will provide strategic leadership and lead the asset management strategy and commissioned works for a -1bn council housing portfolio.     The role holder will lead and facilitate the development of the clients asset and investment strategy working with elected members, senior stakeholders, residents and partners across the City.     Candidates must demonstrate strong technical asset management expertise, a thorough understanding of current and forthcoming housing regulations, and the ability to operate strategically within a complex housing environment. Alongside technical capability, cultural fit, stakeholder engagement, and leadership qualities will be important considerations.     The position offers hybrid working (2-3 days per week on-site in Greater Manchester) and is initially expected to run up to six months    -450500 per day.
