Head of Asset Delivery - GGS 15

Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic, strategic, and people-focused leader to take on the role of Head of Asset Delivery within our Legal and Property Directorate, which is responsible for estate management services across our organisation. This is a high-impact leadership position, central to the successful delivery of our estate transformation agenda.As Head of Asset Delivery, you’ll manage the delivery of one of our most significant, complex, multi-site capital investment programmes. You’ll ensure new infrastructure is acquired and built before legacy sites are decommissioned, all within a matrix management environment. This role sits on our Extended Leadership Team and plays a pivotal part in shaping the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the business.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days per week in our Central Reading office.What you’ll do

Manage the delivery of all aspects of the capital investment projectDrive continuous improvement across strategy, systems, and processesManage complex stakeholder relationships and governance forumsLead and engage cross-functional teams within a matrix structureProactively manage interdependencies to minimise customer impactTranslate stakeholder priorities into actionable plans for delivery teamsIdentify and respond to emerging requirements and opportunitiesOversee project budgets, forecasting, and value deliveryEnhance workflow systems and reporting capabilitiesWhat You’ll Bring

Proven experience leading teams/functions in a matrix project environmentDeep understanding of capital delivery programmes (planning and build)Expertise in workflow management and performance trackingStrong stakeholder management and influencing skillsExperience balancing customer, commercial, and technical prioritiesTrack record of driving continuous improvement and team performanceKnowledge of infrastructure managementExperience in joint ventures or similar collaborative environmentsFamiliarity with CDM regulationsAbout MBNL
