Head of Age Well Commissioning

My Local Authority client in Central London is looking to appoint a talented Head of Age Well Commissioning on a Contract basis. The role leads a commissioning team focused on older and/or frail residents, including physical disabilities. About the role: Based in Central London (hybrid): Contribute to the professional development of the team and co-ordinate the delivery of a complex programme of work centred on core health and care priorities.Contribute to planning for continuous reduction in health and wellbeing inequalities across the borough in collaboration across the council, the wider health systemTake stock of the current commissioning arrangements and the status of public health-commissioned services, engaging with Public Health Consultants, Heads of Programme, and Policy Officers to develop and implement a commissioning plan for the divisionAssess, rationalise, and deliver all aspects of high quality public health commissioning with a view to tackling inequalities, improving outcomes and generating value for residentsAbout you: You will have the following experiences:Significant experience of All Age Commissioning.Joint / integrated experience is essentialPolitically astute, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.ICB / NHS / CCG / Local Authority experience is essential.What''s on offer:Salary: 425+ per day, inside IR35Hybrid Working (flexible)Contract type: ContractHours: 09:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday How to apply Once your CV is received, if you are successful ..... full job details .....
