Head of Accounts PayableSalary from £43,277 to £51,714 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £55,497 pa inclusive of London allowanceRole context

The Finance Division aims to provide ethical and effective management of the School''s financial resources, and to ensure high-quality finance services for our internal and external customers that are necessary to achieve world-class teaching and research.The Accounts Payable team is responsible for the end-to-end process of paying School suppliers punctually and efficiently, meeting time and quality targets.The School has a complex Accounts Payable environment, with a large proportion of foreign and exotic currency payments, subsidiary companies, one-off suppliers and other anomalies (such as student payments). The team process over 2,000 documents per week.Responsibilities

The Head of Accounts Payable is responsible for the leadership and operational management of the Accounts Payable function and team of eight.Excellent customer service and professionalism is a core requirement for this role.Requirements

Evidence of extensive specialist AP experience, including leading a teamThe ability to manage a high-volume, high value transactional serviceThe ability to lead, manage and mentor team membersBenefits
