Head Housekeeper

The Opportunity Global Highland are currently looking for an experienced and hands-on Head Housekeeper to join our client and their team in Fort Augustus. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong housekeeping experience who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high standards, and supporting staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience. As Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day housekeeping operation and ensuring that consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained throughout the property. Key Responsibilities Leading, supporting and motivating the housekeeping team. Creating and managing housekeeping rotas to ensure appropriate staffing levels. Carrying out regular room inspections and ensuring standards are consistently maintained. Providing constructive feedback to team members and addressing any performance or standards issues. Delivering and rolling out training for housekeeping staff, including new starters. Ensuring housekeeping procedures and cleaning standards are followed. Organising daily housekeeping tasks and prioritising workloads. Working closely with management and other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Leading by example and being prepared to assist with housekeeping duties when required.
