Are you a driven and experienced Housekeeping professional with a passion for excellence and a commitment to first-class service£ My client, a prestigious venue nestled in the heart of Henley-on-Thames, is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the dedicated housekeeping team and uphold the highest standards across this historic site.

About the Role


As Housekeeping Manager, you will take charge of the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across all areas of the Club andndash; from our boutique hotel rooms and elegant function spaces to the Fitness Centre and public areas.

Youandrsquo;ll play a vital leadership role, driving performance, developing your team, and embodying the core ethos of the site. Your attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction will ensure every guest and visitor enjoys an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities




  • Lead and inspire the Housekeeping team to deliver outstanding cleanliness and service.


  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas meet the businesses exacting standards.


  • Manage supplier relationships, stock control, budgets, and operational paperwork.


  • Oversee staff rotas, performance, training, and communication.


  • Ensure exceptional hygiene standards in the Fitness Centre and wellness areas.


  • Support planning and delivery of housekeeping services for major events, including Regatta.


What Weandrsquo;re Looking For




  • Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably within a high-end hospitality or private club environment.


  • Strong organisational and leadership skills with a hands-on approach.


  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
