The Role Leading the team in the smooth running of the kitchen operation Menu design and planning Managing stock control and adhering to food cost guidelines Ensure compliance with both Food Safety and Health and Safety in the kitchen Training, supervising, and developing a team to help them make the most of their potential Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals, providing for special dietary requirements and taking into account the preferences and cultures of residents. Maintain accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures. Ensure stock rotation. Ensure statutory Health & Safety standards are followed in the kitchen and dining areas.
