Head Chef

Head Chef Salary: £40,00 - £45,000 Location: Dorking We currently have an opportunity to recruit an experienced Head Chef who will be responsible for our kitchens and a busy conference and banqueting suite with a capacity up to 500 covers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy environment with a motivated and passionate team. Skills and Requirements: Overall responsibility for daily operations in the kitchen Liaising with purchasing companies for food orders Maintaining or raising the profit margins on food Managing, training and recruiting a brigade of chefs Develop menus, control purchases and wastage Food Safety and Hygiene and Health and Safety Legislation qualifications. Strong motivational and influential people skills You will be an effective communicator, and be able to integrate with other Head''s of Department. Write menus and emphasis on keeping with current food trends An eye for detail and the ability to drive consistent brand standards. A minimum of 3 years'' experience in a similar role within Restaurants and Conference and Banqueting. This is a Full-Time position working 5 days out of 7, including weekends and evenings.
