This establishment is all about creating delicious, nourishing food that truly makes people’s day, they want the residents of the care home to look forward to meal times. This company is looking for a head chef to run the kitchen and ensure the standards are great and the residents are happy with the great meals. One of the units they have is the dementia unit, having great meals helps the residents to really connect back to happy memories. As well as running a team, you will be helping people with dementia really enjoy food.  The role As a head chef you will run the kitchen, you will ensure everything runs smoothly and the food is ready on time. Allergens are so important in a place like this, with the dementia unit, you will need to be really hot on allergens incase a resident forgets about an allergen they have. You will create menus, create themed days as well, manage the team, ensure the food standards of the kitchen are high and the food allergens are followed.
