The Role
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for delivering food and service to a consistently high standard, taking full leadership of the kitchen brigade, ensuring seamless daily operations and maintaining the integrity of the seasonal menu offer.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a brigade of 8 chefs
Maintain and develop the exceptional food quality and presentation standards
Train, mentor and develop the team
Effective communication with key departments is paramount to this roles'' ongoing success
Continue to develop relationships with suppliers and manage stock levels
Control food costs and minimise waste
Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance standards
Deliver smooth daily service in a calm and organized manner
About You
Minimum 3 yearsandrsquo; experience managing teams within a professional kitchen
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Proactive, takes initiative and leads by example
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise
Supportive team player with a hands-on approach
Excellent attention to detail and record keeping
Flexible and willing to work in line with the needs of the business
