Head Chef - Independent Restaurant Group - Circa andpound;41,500 per annum

• andpound;33,530 basic salary plus tronc of a minimum andpound;8,000, taking the package to andpound;41,500
• Head Chef bonus scheme of up to 15% of salary after six months
• 45 hours per week, typical shifts 8am or 9am through to 6pm

An experienced Head Chef is required to run the kitchen at a long standing independent restaurant in Edinburgh city centre, part of a family owned Scottish group.

The restaurant serves from morning through to evening and has a busy events and private dining side alongside its day to day trade. The cooking is seasonal and Scottish, with a focus on local sourcing and quality ingredients. The Head Chef will lead the brigade, write the seasonal and event menus, run the pass through service, handle ordering, stock and rotas, and work to food cost and labour budgets.

This suits an established Head Chef, or a strong Senior Sous ready for their first kitchen, who likes being on the stoves and wants to put their stamp on a restaurant.
