Head Chef (Live In) Conference and Banqueting 45,000 Basic SalaryAre you a Head Chef with experience in banqueting and large operations? We have an excellent opportunity for you to join an award-winning venue in Milton Keynes. As Head Chef you will take control, accountability, and ownership for the management of the Conference and Banqueting department.Key Responsibilities and Duties (assisting the Executive Head Chef):Deputise for the Executive Head Chef in their absence.Supervise the preparation of banqueting menus and special functions.Carry out menu costings and tasting sessions.Cook dishes to the highest standard, even on special requests.Instruct, brief, and supervise your kitchen brigadeOversee and ensure all food is prepared to specifications in presentation and recipe.Maintain restaurant and Health Department sanitation requirements.Establish and maintain effective employee relations and departmental SOPs.Participate in recruitment, hiring, orientation, appraisals, coaching, and training.Establish the kitchen budget in collaboration with the General Manager.What we''re looking for:Minimum 3 years'' experience as a Head Chef in a similar establishment.Strong knowledge of Hotel fire, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, and COSHH regulations.What''s on offer?Salary: 45,000 Basic salaryLive In AccommodationCanteen facilities.Company events.Company pension.Employee discount.Health and wellbeing programme.Life insurance.On-site parking.Paid volunteer time.Referral programme. ..... full job details .....
