      <description>Location: Southend-on-Sea | Salary: &amp;pound;31000 - &amp;pound;33000/annum | Type: Permanent | Job Title:  Head Chef  Location:  Southend  Remuneration:  -31,000 - -33,000  Full Time, 37.5hrs (7am to 3pm/10.30am to 6pm)   Contract Details:  Permanent    **you we be required to work alternate weekends**     Responsibilities:    Lead and inspire a dedicated catering team to deliver exceptional service, meeting all dietary requirements.  Manage the food cycle with an emphasis on quality and hygiene, ensuring compliance with regulations.  Collaborate for menu consultations and feedback.  Oversee special dietary needs while adhering to allergen regulations.  Provide operational support for the in-house caf-, including stock management and waste control.  Conduct regular budget meetings, ensuring financial compliance and addressing any overspend.  Maintain well-stocked communal areas with refreshments and snacks.  Conduct risk assessments, ensuring safety standards are upheld in the kitchen.  Supervise and develop catering staff, managing rotas and recruitment processes.
