This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced baker who understands artisan production and can bring together people, processes and product quality in a busy manufacturing environment. What you will be doing: Leading, developing and motivating the night-shift bakery team. Overseeing production from ingredient preparation through to final packing and dispatch. Ensuring production plans are delivered on time, in full and to specification. Acting as the key link between the night shift and site management, ensuring clear communication. Working with the Production Manager to improve quality, consistency, efficiency and throughput. Identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve yields and increase productivity. Maintaining high standards of health and safety, food safety and good manufacturing practice. Supporting staffing rotas, team training and cross-skilling across production areas.
