Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our team. The successful candidate will support patients with their daily needs, ensuring comfort, dignity, and high-quality care in line with UK healthcare standards. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting Support mobility and help patients move safely Monitor and record vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse, respiration) Assist with feeding and hydration where required Maintain accurate patient records and report changes to senior staff Provide emotional support and companionship to patients Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment Follow infection control and health and safety guidelines Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals Requirements Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a care setting (preferred) Right to work in the UK Good communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends Basic understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality Need Ehanced DBS Certificate Need Care Certificate Desirable Skills Experience working in care homes Manual handling training Basic Life Support (BLS) training Knowledge of person-centred care ..... full job details .....
