Role: Hate Crime Triage, WorkerBased: City of London Talbot Court / RemoteRate: £15.50ph PAYE or £20ph umbStart Date: ASAPDuration: Temporary ongoingHours: 35 hours per week Remote Our client, a specialist LGBT+ anti-abuse charity is looking for several temporary Hate Crime Triage Workers to join their team. The Hate Crime Triage Worker will provide triage calls, one-off interventions, referrals, and signposting to hate crime survivors of all strands (race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, and gender identity) at mixed risk of harm (high, medium, and low).Synopsis of duties:Provide trauma-informed, non-judgemental one-off support to victims, including signposting and referrals into advocacy or other partnership advocacy agencies.Make contact with victims in the timeframes set by funders, and complete required administrative tasks on the CRM system, Salesforce.Collect and record monitoring data on all calls, emails, and other enquiries as required.Flag safeguarding concerns and action these as appropriate, with guidance from the Advocacy and Support Manager. Essential RequirementsExperience of triage and supporting survivors of abuse and/or crime.Strong understanding of safeguarding vulnerable people in a multi-agency context.Knowledge of the safety and risk issues associated with being a victim or survivor of violence or abuse.Strong understanding of the needs of LGBT+ survivors of abuse (hate crime, domestic abuse, sexual violence, etc.).Strong understanding of ..... full job details .....
