Harrow - Team Manager - Assessment Team - -44.50 p/h Umb

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Managing and supervising a team of Social Workers, Senior Social Workers, and support staff.
* Overseeing the delivery of statutory assessments within a frontline Assessment Team.
* Ensuring compliance with safeguarding thresholds, legislation, and timescales.
* Providing leadership and oversight on complex cases, including Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries.
* Driving performance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement within the team.
* Supporting staff development through supervision, guidance, and performance management.
* Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure effective safeguarding outcomes.
* Ensuring accurate and timely case recording and reporting.

Working Pattern:
* Full-time
* Hybrid working

Pay Rate:
* -44.50 p/h Umbrella

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Significant experience within children''s social care, including management experience
* Experience within Assessment/Frontline services
* Social Work England Registration
* Strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of safeguarding legislation
