Hardware Engineer Edinburgh 55-65k + shares A start-up in Edinburgh developing a one-of-a-kind technology is looking for a hardware engineer with a desire to work across the stack, from PCB to FPGAs to RF architecture. Here, you''ll have a significant degree of ownership, working on 3 complex projects within the first month, and you''ll be afforded the freedom to design systems for brand new technology in your own way. Responsibilities Architect and design complex hardware using modern development practices, including AI-assisted workflows where relevant Generating and verifying rapid prototypes to prove new concepts prior to a full design Ensuring DFM and EMC using various simulation softwares Co-author new patents and IP Technical Requirements 5 years of electronics design experience and at least a BSc in electronics engineering or similar PCB Design experience with Altium or equivalent CAD software Power electronics design and modelling experience Strong grasp or experience with RF design and FPGA/ASIC systems Bonus Skills 3D modelling or mechanical design experience Experience with AI-assisted workflows Benefits Opportunity to work with the most bleeding-edge technologies Share options 25 days holiday which increases year on year Competitive pension scheme If you''re an ..... full job details .....
