      <description>Location: Stone | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | MERITUS are recruiting for Electrical / Hardware Design Engineers to join our client based in Staffordshire to support the delivery of complex engineering solutions within the Nuclear industry.ELECTRICAL / HARDWARE DESIGN ENGINEER - NEG (ENQUIRE FOR DETAILS) - STONE, STAFFORDSHIRE - HYBRID WORKING - SC CLEARANCE ELIGIBILITY REQUIRED - SECTOR: NUCLEARDesign and develop hardware systems using proprietary components, focusing on PLCs, MCCs, drives, controls, and switchgear.Produce and review detailed electrical designs, cabling schematics, and containment system layouts.Support site surveys and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver effective project solutions.Provide technical guidance and mentoring support to junior engineers within the wider team.Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant safety, environmental, British, and international standards.Support the full project lifecycle from initial concept design through to final delivery and commissioning.
