This is a hands-on, end-to-end electronics design role for an engineer who can take hardware from system requirements and initial concept through detailed design, verification, manufacture and product introduction. Key Responsibilities Translate system requirements into robust board-level hardware designs. Design high-speed digital electronics and support analogue circuit simulation. Develop multilayer PCB designs, layouts and signal integrity solutions. Produce schematics and PCB designs using Altium, OrCAD or similar CAD tools. Lead hardware verification, validation, testing, troubleshooting and design reviews. Write test specifications, circuit descriptions and technical documentation. Support FPGA-based hardware using VHDL and Embedded C where required. Use MATLAB and scripting for hardware configuration, test and verification.
