Our client, a leading company in the defence sector, is currently seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a specialist in hardware to apply their expertise across the full development life-cycle in a new and challenging environment.Key Responsibilities:Conducting analysis of customer requirementsCreating and modifying electronic designs and architectureUsing simulation tools to generate verification test benchesParticipating in design reviewsPerforming configuration controlIntegrating hardware componentsJob Requirements:The successful candidate should possess experience in several of the following areas:Proficiency in designing analogue circuits, including amplifiers, filters, and oscillatorsUnderstanding signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) principlesFamiliarity with analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analogue converters (DACs), and mixed-signal designSkills in designing power supply circuits and managing power distributionProficiency in using oscilloscopes and spectrum analysers for testing and debuggingExperience in hardware design and verification against an agreed set of requirementsGood understanding of requirements capture, work package definition, and effort estimationAbility to create and modify analogue and digital hardware designsModule and system commissioning experienceSupport for the manufacturing department during build and test phasesIf you are ..... full job details .....
