The Opportunity

Design high-precision electronics systems used by leading engineering organisations worldwide.

We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to join an established, engineering-led company specialising in precision electronic test and measurement systems. This hands-on role lets you take ownership of projects, designing and developing mixed-signal hardware from concept through to production, within a cooperative, technically strong team.

Move beyond routine design work and influence product development while building deep technical expertise as a Hardware Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product specifications with Product Management
• Design and develop analogue and digital electronics hardware
• Create schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using Altium Designer
• Select components and improve performance, accuracy, and reliability
• Debug and validate hardware using lab equipment
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams
• Take ownership of projects from concept to production
• Support products throughout their lifecycle and contribute to design reviews

Essential Skills & Experience

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience in hardware design
• Strong analogue and digital circuit design knowledge
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and test equipment
• Experience in multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

Desirable Experience

• Altium Designer experience
• RF circuit design knowledge
• Experience in instrumentation, measurement, or high-reliability systems
