Hardware Asset Management Architect
Role OverviewThe Hardware Asset Management Architect is responsible for defining and governing the enterprise Hardware Asset Management strategy, operating model, architecture, processes, and tooling. The role ensures the effective management of physical technology assets throughout their life cycle, from procurement and deployment through to retirement and disposal.The HAM Architect provides strategic leadership for asset governance, inventory management, financial optimisation, CMDB alignment, life cycle management, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory compliance. The role works closely with procurement, finance, enterprise architecture, service management, security, workplace services, datacentre teams, and technology suppliers.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy and Architecture* Define and maintain the enterprise Hardware Asset Management strategy and roadmap.* Develop target-state HAM operating models, processes, and governance structures.* Establish architectural standards and controls for asset life cycle management.* Ensure HAM capabilities align with broader IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Enterprise Architecture principles.* Lead HAM transformation and tooling initiatives.Asset Lifecycle ManagementGovernance and Compliance* Establish HAM policies, procedures, and operational controls.* Ensure alignment between asset repositories, procurement systems, and CMDB records.Financial Management and Optimisation* Partner with finance and procurement teams to support: o ..... full job details .....
