Job Title: Hardware Asset Management (HAM) ArchitectFULLY REMOTE/Initial 2 month contract/Inside IR35Job DescriptionThe Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Architect defines and governs the enterprise-wide strategy, operating model, architecture, processes, and tooling for Hardware Asset Management. You will ensure that all physical technology assets are effectively managed throughout their life cycle, from procurement and deployment through to retirement and disposal. Working closely with procurement, finance, enterprise architecture, service management, security, workplace services, datacentre teams, and technology suppliers, you will provide strategic leadership across asset governance, inventory management, financial optimisation, CMDB alignment, life cycle management, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory compliance.ResponsibilitiesDefine and maintain the enterprise Hardware Asset Management strategy and roadmap, ensuring it supports wider organisational objectives.Develop target-state HAM operating models, processes, and governance structures that provide clear ownership and accountability.Establish architectural standards, principles, and controls for end-to-end asset life cycle management.Ensure HAM capabilities align with broader IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Enterprise Architecture principles and frameworks.Lead HAM transformation initiatives, including the selection, implementation, and optimisation of tooling and platforms.Design and govern end-to-end hardware ..... full job details .....
