About the Role

As a Handyperson based in Newton Abbot, you will join a busy construction site, reporting to site management. Your duties include filling holes in concrete, preparing work areas for other trades, and undertaking temporary carpentry such as formwork and temporary doors. General site tasks will also be assigned as needed. This contract role offers £19.00 to £23.00 per hour via Umbrella, depending on experience. Candidates must have at least two years of handyman experience, a valid CSCS card (Green or Blue preferred), a basic tool kit, and BPSS clearance or a willingness to obtain it. A Basic DBS certificate is also required before starting.

We''re looking for an experienced Handyperson to join a busy construction site.
Duties include:
££ Filling holes in concrete
££ Preparing work areas for other trades
££ Temporary carpentry including formwork and temporary doors
££ General site duties as instructed by site management
Requirements:
£ Minimum 2 years'' handyman experience
£ CSCS Card (Green or Blue – trade card preferred)
£ Basic carpentry/bricklaying tool kit
£ BPSS clearance (must be in place or currently in progress before starting – we can organise this)
£ Basic DBS certificate (must already be held or you''re willing to apply for one before starting)
££ Pay:
• Standard rate: £19.00 per hour (Umbrella)
• Up to £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) available for highly experienced candidates with a relevant trade CSCS card.
