Handyperson / Building maintenance engineer

We have an exciting opportunity to join a National Facilities Management company, as a Handyperson / Building Maintenance Technician supporting our Honeywell contract across two key sites in Feltham and Horsham.
This is a permanent position offering a -32,000 annual salary, ideal for someone with a strong facilities maintenance background who enjoys a varied and hands-on role.
About the Role:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting daily site walks to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Responding to reactive maintenance requests via our electronic ticketing system
- Performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) using a CMMS platform
- Basic plumbing and electrical tasks (tap flushing, fire alarm testing, evaporator cleaning, descaling)
- Grounds maintenance (mowing, strimming, edging)
- Supporting health & safety procedures including fire extinguisher checks and first aid station upkeep
- Assisting contractors and mobile M&E teams
- Maintaining accurate records and e-logbooks
Location & Schedule:
- Feltham (TW13 7WB) - 3 days/week
- Horsham (RH13 5YZ) - 2 days/week
What We''re Looking For:
- Valid IPAF and PASMA licences (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong M&E knowledge (plumbing, heating, electrics)
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and waste management
- Confident using IT systems (Microsoft Office, Teams, CMMS platforms)
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset
- Must pass security checks and have the right to work in the UK
Desirable Skills:
- Fire Warden or Forklift training
- BMS system awareness
