We-are-looking-for-an-experienced-and-reliable-Handyman-/-Property-Maintenance-Operative-to-work-across-a-portfolio-of-properties-and-development-projects-throughout-the-UK.

This-is-a-varied,-hands-on-role-suited-to-someone-with-a-broad-range-of-practical-maintenance-and-property-skills-who-is-comfortable-working-independently-and-taking-responsibility-for-completing-jobs-to-a-high-standard.

The-role-will-involve-travel-between-different-properties-and-development-sites.-A-company-van-or-suitable-vehicle-will-be-provided-or-you-may-use-your-own.-

Key-Responsibilities

• Carry-out-general-property-maintenance-and-handyman-duties-across-residential-and/or-commercial-properties
• Undertake-basic-carpentry-and-joinery-work
• Carry-out-minor-plumbing-repairs-and-maintenance
• Complete-basic-electrical-tasks-where-appropriately-qualified/competent
• Painting,-decorating-and-general-finishing-works
• Repair-doors,-locks,-handles,-fixtures-and-fittings
• Assemble-and-install-furniture,-shelving-and-other-property-fixtures
• Identify-maintenance-issues-and-carry-out-appropriate-repairs
• Complete-snagging-works-on-development-and-refurbishment-projects
• Prepare-properties-for-occupation,-handover-or-inspection
• Liaise-with-contractors-and-trades-where-specialist-work-is-required
• Ensure-properties-and-sites-are-left-clean,-safe-and-presentable
• Purchase-or-collect-materials-and-equipment-where-required
• Maintain-tools,-equipment-and-the-company-vehicle
• Provide-updates-on-jobs-completed-and-highlight-any-additional-works-required
