Handyman/Maintenance Operative

The Role We are looking for an experienced and reliable Handyman / Property Maintenance Operative to work across a portfolio of properties and development projects throughout the UK. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with a broad range of practical maintenance and property skills who is comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for completing jobs to a high standard. The role will involve travel between different properties and development sites. A company van or suitable vehicle will be provided or you may use your own. Key Responsibilities Carry out general property maintenance and handyman duties across residential and/or commercial properties Undertake basic carpentry and joinery work Carry out minor plumbing repairs and maintenance Complete basic electrical tasks where appropriately qualified/competent Painting, decorating and general finishing works Repair doors, locks, handles, fixtures and fittings Assemble and install furniture, shelving and other property fixtures Identify maintenance issues and carry out appropriate repairs Complete snagging works on development and refurbishment projects Prepare properties for occupation, handover or inspection Liaise with contractors and trades where specialist work is required Ensure properties and sites are left clean, safe and presentable Purchase or collect materials and equipment where required Maintain tools, equipment and the company vehicle Provide updates on jobs completed and ..... full job details .....
