Handyman (3-Month FTC)
Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week | -27,000 Pro Rata

Monday - Friday 40 hours per week

Fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hands-on Handyman / yard support operative to join a manufacturing company in Rugby on a 3-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to extend beyond this.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, has a strong work ethic, and is comfortable supporting a variety of operational and site-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
* Jet washing, cleaning, and stripping down second-hand equipment
* Assisting with the movement of machinery
* Supporting general site upkeep, including breaking down pallets and waste materials
* Carrying out painting, cleaning, and general maintenance tasks
* Supporting warehouse racking installation
* Helping with stock relocation and replacement as new systems are implemented
* Providing support during on-site installations, including two-person lifts and equipment setup
* Undertaking general DIY and ad hoc tasks across the site

Skills & Experience:
* Practical DIY skills and confidence using tools such as drills, grinders, and multi-tools
* A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
* Forklift License (preferred - not essential)
* Full UK driving licence
