      <description>Location: Kent | Salary: 17.50-17.50 Hourly | Type: Permanent | Stride Recruitment are urgently recruiting a Handyman to assist with general maintenance and handyman duties on-site across the Darent Valley Hospital estates in Dartford, DA2 8DA on an initial 3 month FTC covering sick cover. However there is a high likelihood this position will go permanent after 3 months. Type of work: Handyman 3 Month Sick Cover contract with potential to go permanent after this date. Location: Darent Valley Hospital, DA2 8DA.  Rates: From  17.50 per hour, 12 hour shifts - 3 days, 3 nights then 4 rest days. Alternative shift options available upon enquiry. Start: Immediate interviews and start dates available. PAYE OR CIS. Weekly pay. Duties and Role:  Working within a team and independently when required adhering to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary  Time-served Handyman or Maintenance Engineer   Building services maintenance - Ensuring the Hospital runs smoothly by covering all reactive and planned maintenance tasks like but not specific to - Fixing sinks, Attaching HSE and Department signage, Unblocking drainage, Building Services checks and department refurbishments.
