We''ve got just the job.Our client, a thriving student accommodation provider, is searching for a proactive and reliable Temporary Handyman to support their on-site team with day-to-day repairs and general maintenance. What you''ll be doing:Carrying out a range of reactive maintenance tasks to a high standard, including basic plumbing, joinery, carpentry, and occasional painting/decorating.Moving furniture and handling heavier items across the site as needed.Maintaining lighting, completing statutory checks, and ensuring safe, functional spaces.Responding effectively to health and safety issues.Keeping maintenance reports updated using electronic systems.Monitoring stock levels and notifying management when materials, tools, or equipment need replenishing.What we''re looking for:Hands-on experience within residential repairs/maintenance or a background in trades such as plumbing, electrical work, or carpentry.Handyman/Caretaker/Maintenance/Trade experienceSomeone equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team.A strong awareness of health and safety standards.A positive, can-do attitude with good initiative.Friendly, helpful, and professional at all times.If you take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy keeping buildings running smoothly, we''d love to hear from you.
