Job Title: Handyman (Fabric Technician)
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £35,000 Per Annum + Overtime Opportunities
Hours: 4 on 4 off Days Only

Are you an experienced Handyman or Fabric Technician looking for a days-only shift role within a large commercial environment?
We are currently recruiting for a Handyman (Fabric Technician) to join a leading FM service provider, working at a large commercial facility in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role with a well-established company that offers a great working environment and plenty of opportunities to increase your earnings through overtime.
 
The Role
Working as part of the on-site maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive fabric maintenance across the building, ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and presented to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive fabric maintenance
• General handyman duties including basic carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating, and repairs
• Repairing doors, locks, ceilings, flooring, and fixtures
• Completing minor building maintenance tasks across the site
• Supporting the wider engineering team where required
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records

 
About You
The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience working as a Handyman, Fabric Technician, or Maintenance Operative
• A background or recognised qualification in a trade such as Carpentry, Joinery, Plumbing, Painting & Decorating, or similar
• Experience working within commercial buildings or Facilities Management is desirable
• Good all-round maintenance and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive and customer-focused approach
