We are looking for a top-notch Head of Planning to join our team. As a dynamic and tech-driven start-up, curiosity and ingenuity are key traits. You will be a key leader involved in setting the direction of our fast-growing team.As a Head of Department, you will be responsible for three key things:Ensuring we deliver the absolute best impact and keep innovatingCoaching our people to reach their true potentialSetting and pushing the direction of the business towards our shared visionDepartment Heads at Laminar can switch between hands-on work and delegation depending on the scenario. Our clients include major Owner/Operators, Main Contractors and Subcontractors, with project values between £1m and £1B+ UK and Europe-wide. Some travel is required to stay connected with clients and spend time with your team.Requirements

A construction engineering background with over 10 years of experience delivering engineering and construction projects, expert-level skills in Primavera P6 or Asta, strong Excel capabilities, and an interest in data; coding skills are a bonus.Strong English communication skills and the ability to guide people effectively, even in challenging situations.Leadership experience: history of leading large teams at the department level, with a focus on helping others grow and leading by example with a people-first approach.Impact: a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions that create real, measurable impact across projects and teams.What we are looking for not to be a fit
