HandS Manager

An industry leading manufacturer is looking to appoint an experienced HandS Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental practices across its operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager and with the support of a HandS Administrator, you will ensure critical E.H.S compliance, driving continuous improvement and embedding a strong health and safety culture within a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage Environmental, Health and Safety (E.H.S) across the business Act as the company s Competent Person for Health and Safety Ensure compliance with UK HandS legislation, regulations and best practice Maintain HandS Systems including 14001 Conduct risk assessments, audits and inspections Manage non-conformances, corrective actions and incident investigations Ensure sites have in place COSHH and Riddor assessments. Support the development of health and safety management systems. Deliver structured Health and Safety training to employees and management Control and manage contractor safety on site Liaise with external bodies, regulators and auditors Provide clear, proactive EHS advice to senior management The Ideal Health and Safety Manager Candidate: Proven Snr Health and Safety experience within manufacturing / production Environment NEBOSH qualified Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and ISO standards Experience of COSHH requirements and management Experience leading audits, risk assessments and compliance programmes Confident ..... full job details .....
