Health and Safety Coordinator12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)Part-Time Hours per Week (School Hours Considered)Salary: £26,000 £38,000 (Pro Rata, Dependent on Experience and Hours)This role is ideal for a motivated Health and Safety professional who enjoys working collaboratively across operational teams to promote a positive safety culture, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site management and employees to maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance.Key Responsibilities of this Health and Safety Coordinator role: Present Health and Safety performance updates and monitoring reports at daily operational review meetings, supporting mitigation planning where required.Conduct both static and dynamic risk assessments in partnership with operational and functional teams.Carry out regular site inspections, behavioural safety observations, GEMBA walks, hazard identification activities, and unsafe act reporting.Produce, analyse, and report on Health and Safety KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.Support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.Share lessons learned from incidents and best practices across the wider business.Act as a key point of contact for managers, employee representatives, and colleagues on Health, Safety and ..... full job details .....
