About the Role Our client is currently looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join a major data centre project in Slough. This is a site-based position working closely with the project and site management teams to ensure high standards of health and safety are maintained throughout the project. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site teams, monitoring compliance, carrying out inspections and promoting a strong positive safety culture across the project. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day Health and Safety support across the data centre project. Carry out regular site inspections, audits and safety observations. Monitor compliance with RAMS and company HandS procedures. Assist with the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements. Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, engineers and subcontractors. Identify hazards and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented. Assist with accident, incident and near-miss investigations. Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings. Monitor subcontractor compliance with site HandS requirements. Maintain accurate HandS documentation and records. Ensure compliance with relevant UK Health and Safety legislation and client requirements. Support the project team in maintaining and improving HandS standards. Requirements NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent. Previous experience within a construction environment.
