HandS Advisor 12month FTC 35,000- 37,000South East Manchester/ HybridHamilton Woods are currently recruiting for a social housing provider to recruit for a HandS Advisor to cover maternity on a 12m FTC. The role will require one day in their offices, with some travel to site.Duties and Responsibilities of the HandS Advisor:Assisting the HandS Manager in leading and embedding a strong and robust health and safety culture across the organisationImplementing HandS Team actions.Assisting with the development of policies and procedures in relation to health and safety.Supporting management in ensuring effective HandS systems are being operated withinContributing to the risk assessment processes, including safe systems of work and COSHH, under the guidance of the HandS Manager.Working with the HandS Manager and the HR team to help identify HandS training requirements.Assisting in the delivery of HandS training where appropriate.Preparing and and reporting on HandS performance.Overseeing the accident and incident management system and ensure investigations are completed in a timely manner.Providing advice and guide investigations for accidents, incidents and near missesEssential Requirements of the HandS Advisor:NEBOSH Certificate in Health and SafetyExperience of working within a HandS teamExperience dealing and responding to HandS queriesExperience being involved in risk assessments, accidents, near misses, audit and investigationsFull UK Driving Licence and access to own ..... full job details .....
