HandS Advisor - Water projects - Cambridge - 45-60/hr (inside IR35) We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to support water-related engineering and construction projects at a major chemicals manufacturing site. They''re looking for a practical, site-focused HandS professional to work alongside project teams and contractors, helping ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly and efficiently within a complex industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on HandS advice and guidance to project managers, supervisors and contractors. Conduct site inspections, audits and safety tours, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and site procedures. Review risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work. Advise on high-risk activities, including confined spaces, excavations, lifting operations, temporary works and working at height. Support incident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actions. Deliver toolbox talks and promote a positive health and safety culture. Monitor compliance with CDM Regulations and relevant health, safety and environmental standards. Maintain accurate safety records and support reporting and continuous improvement. About You NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate. CSCS card or equivalent industry card.
