About the Role

As a Hand Palletising Operator based in Newbridge, you will join a leading food manufacturer at its modern, automated site near Crumlin. This temporary contract, paying up to £13.50 per hour, requires flexibility around various shifts, including weekends. Your core duties involve manually palletising products to specification, inspecting product quality prior to stacking, and adhering to strict health and safety standards. You will also assist with general production tasks, maintain a tidy workspace, and pack finished goods at the end of the line. This role, lasting a minimum of six weeks, demands attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness within a contemporary production environment.

A leading food manufacturer is looking for flexible Hand Palletising Operators to work on a production line in its modern, automated, and clean site based in Crumlin, Wales - 15 miles from Newport and 10 miles from Cwmbran and Caerphilly.
PAY: Paying from £13.50-£18.79 per hour
SHIFTS: Various shifts available but preferably you will be able to work all or some weekends
The contract is temporary for a minimum of 6 weeks with a possibility of extension depending on business needs.
What You Will Be Doing:

  • Hand palletising products according to specifications.
  • Checking product quality before palletising.
  • Always following health and safety standards.
  • Assisting with general production duties as required.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
  • Pack finished products on the end of the line ready to send through to distribution whilst completing all paperwork.
  • To ensure a high standard of quality is maintained throughout the process.
  • To maintain excellent hygiene standards in line with Company/ Client procedure.
  • To communicate any issues as they arise.
  • To follow all Company and Client procedures.
  • To work in a flexible and organised manner.
  • Training, coaching and mentoring of any other team members.
  • To carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your supervisor or Manager.
  • To understand and comply with the Company''s Health and Safety Policy Statement.

  • Previous factory or warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
