Stafforce Recruitment is recruiting for a Hand Forge Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in forging, heavy engineering or manufacturing who is looking for a long-term role within a busy production environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate hand forging equipment safely and efficiently using foot-pedal controls. Handle and position heated components throughout the forging process. Produce components to customer specifications and quality standards. Carry out visual quality inspections and identify any defects. Follow engineering drawings, job cards and standard operating procedures. Record production information accurately and report any issues. Complete basic equipment checks and maintain high housekeeping standards. Work safely around hot materials, machinery and tooling. Support production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.
