HAND BENCH JOINER / INSTALLER

Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

My client is an innovative Point of Sale Company who offer the ultimate service in retail print solutions, from conventional flat retail print to highly creative 3D point of sale. With extensive market knowledge and experience, they provide their clients with efficient implementation and well organised execution of all projects.
Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Hand Bench Joiner/Installer to join their team. This role involves producing high-quality joinery in the workshop as well as carrying out professional installations on-site. You will work closely with the team to ensure all projects are completed to an exceptional standard, with opportunities to take on varied and interesting work.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture bespoke joinery items from technical drawings and specifications.
• Operate a wide range of woodworking tools and machinery safely and accurately.
• Undertake site installations, ensuring a professional finish and customer satisfaction.
• Work to deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Follow health & safety procedures both in the workshop and on-site.
• Liaise with colleagues and site managers to ensure smooth project delivery.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a bench joiner with strong practical skills.
• Good knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery assembly, and finishing.
• Experience in site fitting/installations (preferred but not essential).
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred for site work).
