Health & Safety Consultant

Location: Dunfermline
Rate: -400 per day
Contract: 13th August - 29th September

Avenue are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to support a major warehouse and logistics operation in Dunfermline.
This is a short-term contract ideal for a proactive Health & Safety professional who can hit the ground running, ensuring compliance, promoting best practice and supporting site operations throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day Health & Safety support across the site.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Deliver toolbox talks and provide Health & Safety guidance to site personnel.
• Promote a positive safety culture and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum.
• Previous experience in a Health & Safety Consultant or Advisor role.
• Experience working within warehouse, logistics, industrial or large-scale operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Available to start on 13th August and commit through to 29th September.
