H&S Advisor

We have a position for a H&S Advisor for a main contractor to cover MOJ and MOD projects around the South Region from Birmingham to Isle of Wight. The ideal candidate will be based between Birmingham and Isle of Wight to cover projects in the South region and will be expected to be at locations 3/4 days a week with 1 or 2 days working from home. All expenses will be covered.

• must have experience working on construction refurb and construction new build projects.
• The candidate needs to be a strong communicator rather than a ''safety policeman'' with the ability to coach and mentor specifically following Audits.
• A strong generalist is preferred, possibly an Advisor looking for the next step.
• The candidate must be NEBOSH Diploma qualified as a minimum and a CMIOSH, or similar / close too for exceptional candidates.
• Must be willing to travel to various sites and drive

This is a temp to perm role. A great opportunity for a H&S Advisor to progress into a H&S Manager role. Current security clearance - EL1. SC, DV clearance would be ideal, however, our client will be applying for this clearance for the candidate.
