H&S Advisor

We are currently supporting a large, complex operational organisation that is going through a significant transformation programme and investing heavily in its Health & Safety function.

As part of this investment, they are looking to appoint a-Health & Safety Co-Ordinator as well as a Health & Safety Advisor-on an-initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that is strengthening its safety culture and building out its H&S team, with further H&S hires planned.

The Role

The Health & Safety Co-Ordinator will support day-to-day safety operations across a multi-service environment, helping to ensure strong compliance, proactive risk management, and a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace-inspections and safety audits-to identify potential hazards
• Support the organisation in maintaining-compliance with health and safety legislation
• Prepare and maintain-risk assessments, incident reports, and safety documentation
• Investigate-accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and preventative actions
• Deliver-safety inductions and training-where required
• Promote and support a-positive health and safety culture-across operational teams

About You

• Experience working in a-Health & Safety role within an operational environment
• Confident conducting-risk assessments and site inspections
• Good knowledge of-UK health & safety legislation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence safety behaviours
• Relevant-H&S qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent preferred)

Package

• -350 per day
• Initial 6-month contract
• Strong potential for extension as the H&S team continues to grow
